Hi Reader,
There’s a phrase I’ve said to people again and again, whether they’re just starting out or already deep into their business:
Everyone has a course in them.
Not everyone thinks they do. But they do.
We tend to think of courses as big, complicated things. Polished productions filled with modules, slides, and studio lights. But what people really need isn’t more information. What they need is transformation.
And that’s something you’ve probably already helped people with, even informally.
It might be a process you’ve developed.
A story you’ve lived through.
A skill you’ve learned and now take for granted.
Or a way of thinking that shifts people’s perspective the moment you say it out loud.
When you capture that and put it into a course, a real course, one with structure, intention, and an arc that takes someone from point A to point B, it becomes more than just content. It becomes a catalyst.
The myth of “free content is enough”
I share a lot of content for free.
On YouTube, in live streams, in newsletters like this one.
And I don’t hold anything back.
But here’s the truth. Free content and paid programs serve two different purposes.
Free content is about ideas.
Paid programs are about structure.
And people don’t pay for information. They pay for clarity, momentum, and results.
You can absolutely learn things from YouTube videos, blog posts, and social media threads. But if you want to go deep, make real progress, and get out of your own way, you need a path. Not just breadcrumbs.
Courses provide that path.
And that’s why I believe everyone should create one, even if it’s just for a small group at first.
You don’t need to know everything
The course you create doesn’t need to solve every problem in your niche.
It just needs to walk someone through a clear transformation you can guide them through.
And the beautiful thing is, once you’ve done it once, once you’ve mapped it out, recorded it, and delivered it, it becomes a foundation for so much more.
You can grow from there. You can refine it.
You can build a business around it.
Why I’m saying this now
Right now, I’m launching a 12-week experience called the Digital Stage Launchpad, built around Kajabi’s current three months for $99 offer.
It’s designed to help creators like you finally get your course or product off the ground, with structure, coaching, and community all baked in.
This isn’t a pitch. It’s an invitation. You'll find further details down below.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea, wondering whether it’s enough or ready, maybe this is the time to begin.
Because, regardless of if you step on to the Launchpad, you do have knowledge to share and something to teach.
And someone out there is already looking for it. Talk soon, Alec
