Hi Reader,
I recently kicked off the very first session of the Digital Stage Launchpad.
It’s always a bit surreal, starting something like this. You know there are people signed up. You’ve seen their names on the list. But until you actually get into the room with them (virtually or otherwise), it’s hard to know what to expect.
There were a few familiar faces, and a few I didn’t recognise. But what happened next caught me off guard.
After one of the newer members finished asking a question, he paused and said.
“This is so strange… I’ve been watching your videos for years, and now here we are, talking face to face. It feels weird, but great… anyone else feel the same?”
Others agreed.
It was one of those moments that stops you for a second. Because you realise something profound:
The people you’re speaking to aren’t strangers.
They already know you. They already trust you.
You’ve just never met.
This is the paradox of building a digital presence.
You put your message out into the world—through videos, newsletters, podcasts, and livestreams—and for the longest time, it can feel like no one’s really watching.
But they are.
They’re there in the background, tuning in quietly. Taking it all in. Waiting for the right moment to step closer.
And when they do, they’re not starting at the beginning. They’re already invested. They’ve already decided.
You’re not auditioning. You’re welcoming them in.
This is why I believe so deeply in creating content that’s true to who you are.
It’s not just about reach or algorithms.
It’s about connection.
And when that connection becomes real, you’ll know.
Your Audience Is Already Listening
This is something I remind others of often too—especially when it feels like no one’s watching:
The people you’re speaking to today might not comment, click, or respond… but they’re still listening.
And when they finally step forward, it won’t be because of one viral post or a perfectly edited reel.
It’ll be because you kept showing up. You kept telling the truth. You kept making space for them.
So here’s the deeper lesson:
If you’re building a business, a personal brand, or a platform of any kind, don’t just create for the visible audience.
Create for the invisible one.
The quiet watchers. The future clients. The ones waiting for the right moment to step in.
They’re not looking for pressure.
They’re looking for alignment. Clarity. Presence.
And when they see it—they remember.
Side note: If you’ve been one of those quiet watchers and if you’ve been following along and wondering whether there’s a place for you to step in, I just want you to know: there is.
The Digital Stage Launchpad is now underway, but it’s a 12-week journey, and there’s still time to join us.
If you’re ready to build your platform, clarify your message, and finally get your course out into the world… this is your moment.
See below for full details.
So remember… you never know who’s watching.
But one day, they’ll tell you.
And when they do, all those quiet hours behind the mic, the camera, and the screen will make perfect sense. Talk soon, Alec.
