RØDE Just Announced the RødeCaster Video... Here's my review video all about it!

In case you missed it, RØDE just announced the launch of their new Audio and Video Production console, the RødeCaster Video...

It combines all of the studio quality audio of Rodecaster we know and love, with a broadcast quality 6 camera switcher and innovative scene builder for live streaming and recording.

I was fortunate enough receive an early review unit and so have been putting it through its paces.

What sets it apart from other hardware camera switchers, such as the ATEM Mini range, is the ease with which you can create new scene layouts, add overlays and media and general get it all set up in their RodeCentral Desktop App. It is all just so intuitive…. Something that cannot be said for other camera switchers on the market!

"But Wait... What about Ecamm Live?"

So then, you may ask, (those that know me well, at least!) will this be replacing Ecamm Live as my go to for live video production?

Well, d'uhh!! Of course not! Still nothing compares to the power and versatility of Ecamm Live for Mac when it comes to live production of videos, livestreams, presentations, meetings, events and conferences online!

I believe that RødeCaster Video has come out of the gate as the best in its class.... Ecamm is just in a class of its own!
